Wet 71
This was my hardest ride yet. We went out to Crown Point in the Columbia River Gorge. It rained for the first hour of the ride then off and on the rest of the ride. The wind was blowing the whole time too. According to my heart rat monitor I worked harder going down the hill into the wind then going up. I did get some pretty views. I was shocked by all the fishing boats on the Columbia River. Larry one of the ride leaders took the lead the last 15 miles into Portland from Troutdale. I have never worked so hard to keep up with a 60+ year old guy.
